Week 2 Injury Report

The Steelers concluded their first practice of the week heading into their match up with the Minnesota Vikings.

JJ Wilcox, Stephon Tuitt, and Jerald Hawkins all missed practice while Bud Dupree was limited.

Coach Mike Tomlin said during his press conference that he was leaving the door open for Tuitt to play on Sunday, but the likelyhood of that happening appears to be low. Tuitt suffered a biceps injury that doesn't require surgery but could limit his strength and cause him pain for a few weeks.

Wilcox was knocked out cold while trying to break up a Cleveland touchdown at the goal line. He remains in the concussion protocol.

The surprise last week was Dupree showing up on the injury report late in the week and then not playing on Sunday. He told Missi Mathews of Steelers.com after practice today that he was 'confident' he would play this weekend.

Tomlin said yesterday that practice would dictate Dupree's availability.
