Spread: New York Giants (+6.5) at Detroit Lions (-6.5) - O/U: 49.5
The Pick & Point Total: New York Giants (+6.5) / Under (49.5)
The Lions have lost their starting running back, Kerryon Johnson for the remainder of the season and traded away one of their best defensive players in Quandre Diggs to the Seattle Seahawks. The Lions are also ranked as a bottom barrel defense, and without a strong run game, they will struggle to control time of possession. Both teams are coming off back to back losses, but the Giants are getting healthier on offense which should allow them to at least cover the touchdown spread, if not win outright.
The under in this game is also attractive for this matchup, so expect a high turnover game with a lot of stalled drives on both sides.
Moneyline: Carolina Panthers (+200) at San Francisco 49ers (-240)
The Pick: Carolina Panthers (+200)
The 49ers have played one team with a winning record thus far which was the Los Angeles Rams. While the Rams are not a bad football team, they were far from hot at the time of the game and were without All-Pro RB Todd Gurley. The Panthers are coming off a bye and are 4-0 in every game started by QB Kyle Allen who has yet to throw an interception. While this may be a risky bet, it's hard not to roll with the Panthers right now. The X factor in this match up is by far Christian McCaffrey who is a borderline MVP candidate this season.
Spread & Money Line: Philadelphia Eagles (+2.0/+105) at Buffalo Bills (-2.0/-125)
The Pick: Philadelphia Eagles (+2.0/+105)
There will be no team more motivated to win this week than the Philadelphia Eagles. After back to back blowout losses and recently released CB Orlando Scandrick calling out Malcom Jenkins' leadership, the team will look to rebound this week. The Bills have been a great story but severely lack offensive talent and haven't beaten any notable playoff teams. The Eagles biggest weakness has been their secondary, but they will undoubtedly face a much easier task against Josh Allen and company than that of Kirk Cousins and Dak Prescott. A win this Sunday would put the Eagles right back in hunt. Take the Eagles straight up.
