Linebacker, Thomas Davis, of the Los Angeles Chargers was caught making a hot take during an appearance on the NFL Network. A take that Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman, Zach Banner, found “idiotic,” and said Thomas’ take was “uneducated and sad!”
After the comments surfaced, Banner took to Twitter to defend his quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger.
Davis made comments stating that he thought Roethlisberger "chose not to play" last season and that he "gave up" on his team because the talent on the team wasn't up to par.
Watch some of the video below:
Banner fired back recommending to all players who make sports show appearances to not fall for the clickbait.
Message to all players who go on to talk sports:

Stop selling out for the click-bait thirsty networks and saying anything that comes to mind. This is an idiotic point and the fact that TD has the nerve to question a mans torn throwing elbow is both uneducated and sad! https://t.co/fEINrTYZKg
You can say what you want about Roethlisberger, but you can't deny the fact that he was on the sidelines helping his team in whatever way he could while being injured.
It very clearly wasn't a decision that he made and comments like that fall nothing but short of clickbait.
What do you think, Steeler Nation? Are there any of you who think Roethlisberger shorted his team last season? Let us know what you think in the comment section below!
