Vance McDonald is still on the Covid-19 Reserve List along with Kevin Dotson, and both will be missing this game. The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t taking any chances, since Jayrone Elliott missed all week with an illness. With a short week to prepare for the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving, it is best to keep sick people at home just in case it is Covid. No need to have an outbreak with four games to prepare. Anyone on the 5-day list for close contacts would automatically miss the game. Smart move by the doctors and coaching staff here.
The defensive line just got healthy as Tyson Alualu returned last week. Isaiah Buggs is playing and Chris Wormley was just activated today to the roster. If there is a roster move before the game, expect Henry Mondeaux to get called back to the practice squad.
Mike Hilton is finally back after nursing his shoulder injury back to health these past four weeks. Anthony McFarland is also back from his illness and is needed since Jaylen Samuels is missing this game with a quad injury.
- Josh Dobbs: Healthy scratch / 3rd QB
- Jayrone Elliott: Ruled out, will not play
- Trey Edmunds: Ruled out, will not play
- Jaylen Samules: Ruled out, will not play
- Carlos Davis: With Isaiah Buggs and Chris Wormley back, he or Henry Mondeaux will have to sit this week, but I think it will be Davis.
If the Steelers sit a 6th, it could be Henry Mondeaux with a lot of depth returning to the defensive line this week.
