The Pittsburgh Steelers have cut ties with OLB Anthony Chickillo. Last off-season, the Steelers re-signed the edge rusher to a 2-year, $8 million deal. With the news of the team placing the franchise tag on OLB Bud Dupree, they must create cap space to get back under the salary cap. Cutting Chickillo puts back $5 million. There will be more cap casualties to come and we will update you as we hear the news!
