Ben Roethlisberger has cleared the 5-day COVID-19 protocol and is now able to practice. He took every precaution necessary including wearing a mask inside of his own home all week, and sleeping in a separate bedroom than his wife. He and his family also got tested every other day.
He exchanged texts with coaches Randy Fichtner and Matt Canada after watching film all week. He had a lot of old questions since his film didn't have any audio.
Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin stated they will have an extended walkthrough practice today to get Roethlisberger ready for the game tomorrow afternoon against the Cincinnati Bengals.
