The Pittsburgh Steelers don't often make splash moves in free agency. But when they do, it is often after the first wave of players have signed in the first day or two. This is where teams tend to find pretty good value on the open market, and where Steelers GM, Kevin Colbert has excelled.

That happened again this year with the Steelers signing of Eric Ebron on March 20th, a couple days after free agency opened. Ebron signed a two-year deal worth a total of $12 million.

Ebron has been recovering from ankle surgery, and revealed back in April he still wasn't 100% healthy. This worried some Steelers fans, as Ebron had his 2019 season cut short by the ankle injury which led to the surgery.

However, a few days ago Ebron announced on his Twitter (@Ebron85) that he passed his physical, and has been running and cutting with no pain. This was music to the ears of everyone involved with the Steelers.

Just two seasons ago, Ebron set career highs in receptions (66), yards (750), and touchdowns (14) with Andrew Luck throwing him the ball. Now he will have Ben Roethlisbeger throwing him the ball in 2020, who we all know is recovering from his own injury.

It is definitely a pleasant site seeing Ebron tweet he is healthy enough to resume football activities without pain. If both him and Roethlisberger are healthy this season, Ebron should be able to regain his 2018 form and become a dominant receiving option yet again.

Let us know below what you think Eric Ebron will contribute to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2020!
