The Steelers have agreed on a contract with former Alabama defensive line coach Karl Dunbar.
Dunbar has spent the last two seasons under Nick Saban after leaving the NFL coaching ranks. He previously coached for the Chicago Bears (2004), Minnesota Vikings (2006-11), New York Jets (2012-14) and Buffalo Bills (2015).
Dunbar will take the title of defensive line coach from John Mitchell, but Mitchell will stay on the staff. Mitchell also is the assistant Head Coach to Mike Tomlin.
Reports indicate that Mitchell would like to tutor Dunbar as he prepares to retire in the next few years.
