We didn't lose money last week, but I did have my first push of the year. If you followed my picks, you would have gone 2-0-1 last week (18-8-1 YTD). I absolutely hate this week as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. There have been way too many bad memories against the Jacksonville Jaguars to feel any sort of confidence. As always, lines are brought to you via FanDuel Sportsbook. *Lines may change when and wherever you do your betting.

Let’s get started!

Spread:  Pittsburgh -10.5 (Opened at Pittsburgh -10)

If you're a true Steelers fan, you cringe every time you see the Jaguars on the schedule. I have nightmares of Rashean Mathis returning an interception for a touchdown. It isn't my imagination they give the Steelers trouble, since Ben Roethlisberger was drafted, the Steelers are 5-6 versus the Jaguars. In those 11 games, 10 have been been within a 10 point margin. On top of the history between the two teams, the Steelers have a huge Week 12 rematch with the Baltimore Ravens. This just sounds like a recipe for disaster and could be one of those "trap" games for the black and gold.

Stiffler’s Pick: Jacksonville +10.5 (Confident)

Total: Over/Under 46 (Opened at 46)

If the Jaguars are going to keep it close, things will need to get ugly like they did last week versus the Green Bay Packers. On top of that, they will need to rely heavily on the shoulders of running back James Robinson. Their best bet is to keep Roethlisberger and company off the field for as long as possible because if not, they will put up points. Historically, this matchup has gone over 46 points 4 out of 11 times, so I will ride with history again on this one.

Stiffler’s Pick: Under 46 (Not Confident)

1st Half Spread: Pittsburgh -6.5

I really do hate any game versus the Jaguars because you just never know. I am simply picking the Steelers here to offset any loses that might occur. I am siding with history for the game spread and total on this game, but very easily the Steelers could prove me wrong and come out guns blazing like they did last week. If the Steelers are not looking ahead to Thanksgiving, they should blow the doors off this Jaguars team.

Stiffler’s Pick: Pittsburgh -6.5  (Not Confident)

Feel free to follow, fade, or criticize all picks. I wish you good fortune on your bets to come.
