Today was the day for players that have voidable years on their contracts to officially become void. Those contracts voided five days following the Super Bowl.

The Pittsburgh Steelers had three out of the twelve players on today's list. Ben Roethlisberger, Eric Ebron, and JuJu Smith-Schuster were the Steelers on the list.

That officially makes Ebron, and Smith-Schuster free agents at the beginning of the league year. Roethlisberger of course already announced his retirement.

The Steelers will have dead money cap charges for all three of these playes in 2022.

The Steelers aren't expected to retain Smith-Schuster or Ebron for next season. Smith-Schuster has been connected to the Chiefs and Cowboys so far this off-season.
