In a time where Steeler Nation seems to be emotionally down in the dumps following a two-game losing streak, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger took to the media on Wednesday to shed some positive light as the 2020 NFL regular season begins to wind down. He also spoke on Steelers wide receiver, Diontae Johnson being benched in the first half of the Buffalo game last Sunday night:

"We had a nice talk on the sideline at the end of the first half. I thought it was a good talk. I won't tell you what we said. If he wants to divulge what was said, that's fine. Just trying to encourage him, and I thought I was encouraged in the second half. The way he came out, made some plays and showed some physicality with those catches putting his head down trying to get those yards, stuff like that. I was encouraged by his bounce back and really proud of him."

With a number of reasons we could all point to (not just drops) on why the Steelers have struggled as of late, Roethlisberger highlighted what he thought stood out the most:

"There are plays to be had that we're not making. ...Some of it stems from physicality."

All in all, Roethlisberger ended his time on a positive note. That there's no need to panic and there's plenty of time for the team to turn things around:

"This team is special. The season is not over, I want everyone out there to just take a deep breath. I know it's kind of crazy right now, but just take a deep breath, we've got time. So that's my mindset too, take a deep breath, and let's get ready to go this week."

What do yinz think? Can Roethlisberger, Johnson and the rest of the offense begin to display the "physicality" Roethlisberger mentioned moving forward to help the team get back in the win column? Sound off in the comment section below!
