The Pittsburgh Steelers have had quite a news day and unfortunately the latest is not good.
Source: The Lions are interviewing Steelers receivers coach Ike Hilliard for their open offensive coordinator position this afternoon.

Wide receiver coach Ike Hilliard joined the Steelers just a year ago from Washington and it is no surprise he is being looked at for an offensive coordinator role. He helped rookie receiver Chase Claypool flourish this year, even after Claypool came into the season with questions on how technically sound he was at the position. In 2019 he helped develop 3rd round pick Terry McLaurin into the Washington Football Team's leading receiver on a team that used multiple quarterbacks.
If Hilliard happens to get the job we wish him nothing but success. For selfish reasons SteelerNation would love to have him back another year to see how much more Claypool and company can continue to develop. If he does leave, the Steelers will be on their third receivers coach in as many years since the passing of the late Darryl Drake.
