The Pittsburgh Steelers marched into Baltimore in Week 18 of the 2023 NFL season secured a 17-10 victory over their biggest rival, the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens were sitting some of their key players, as they have already locked up the number one seed in the AFC and earned themselves a first-round bye. Regardless of that, the Steelers completed the sweep of Baltimore for the third time in the last four seasons and have won seven of their last eight against the rat-birds. This clearly didn't sit well with Lacie Litz-DeCosta, who is the wife of Ravens General Manager, Eric DeCosta.

Steelers Called Out By Wife Of Ravens GM
One of the more popular members of 'Steelers Twitter/X', Kevin Adams, is an avid Steelers fan and often tweets throughout the games. He is the creator of the Terrible Tailgate, the official tailgate of SteelerNation.com and is a Steelers super-fan. Following the Steelers victory in Baltimore, he posted a tweet discussing the Steelers dominance over the rest of the AFC North this season. The Steelers went 5-1, and swept both the Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals. It was absolute dominance over the rest of the division for Pittsburgh during the 2023 season. This tweet caught the eye of Litz-DeCosta, and it clearly got under her skin as she tweeted a GIF of a participation trophy.
Adams promptly responded to the tweet made by the wife of the Ravens GM, claiming that the Steelers own the Ravens regardless of the success of the two franchises during the 2023 season.
"All I'm saying here is that if the Ravens and their fans didn't care about the Steelers winning tonight and also seven of the last eight games, their GM's wife wouldn't be crying in the quotes..."
This tweet put Litz-DeCosta on blast, and it clearly made her walk back her original statement as she eventually deleted the tweet. It could have been her GM husband making her delete the tweet, or her sudden realization of the Steelers dominance over the Ravens franchise over the last four seasons.

The Ravens GM, DeCosta, took over as the Ravens general manager following the 2019 season, and it just so happens that that is exactly when the Steelers dominance over Baltimore began. DeCosta's Ravens have just one victory over Pittsburgh during his tenure as the GM, as the Steelers have won seven of the eight matchups against the Ravens in that time. This can take a toll on an executive, knowing that one of your biggest divisional rivals has your number.

This outburst on X from Litz-DeCosta is not the first time she has openly trashed the Steelers on social media. She has a history of doing this, which shows how badly she wants to beat Pittsburgh and how much the Steelers dominance over the Ravens is eating at her.
Thank you @JimmysSeafood for taking care of us tonight. ๐

As we were leaving we saw a car decked out in Steelers stuff so we thought they would like the cake more then us. So we gave it to them. ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ pic.twitter.com/F5VmASY3aP
Ravens and Steelers fans share tweets like this all the time, and it is all in good fun. It is one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL, and the two teams respect and hate each other at the same time. However, tweets like this coming from the wife of your organization's general manager is not a good look for Baltimore.
Fair weather friend. Sorry we already have a Snoop. ๐๐ป https://t.co/0QjWWENTSp

Here she is again discussing a picture between the Ravens superstar quarterback, Lamar Jackson, and rap legend Snoop Dogg. Snoop Dogg is a huge Steelers fan, and is consistently offering his insight on the team and what is going on in Pittsburgh. She is calling Snoop Dogg a 'fake friend' to Jackson due to his Steelers fandom, while also saying the Ravens have their own 'Snoop', which is the nickname for back-up quarterback Tyler Huntley, who lost to the Steelers in Week 18. Litz-DeCosta may have finally realized that the Steelers do truly own the Ravens since she deleted her tweet following the Ravens Week 18 loss.
