Monday, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman, Stephon Tuitt was diagnosed with a torn pectoral and will need surgery. He was injured in the first quarter in Sunday night’s win vs. the Los Angeles Chargers.

Tuitt entered the game tied for the team lead in sacks (3.5) and tackles for loss (6). Look to see more of Tyson Alualu in Tuitt’s absence moving forward.

More details ahead.

I’m a Steelers fan first, and a human being second. I BLEED black and gold! I love everything Steeler Nation and I’ve been with this staff since February 2018. I now reside in sunny San Diego, CA, but that doesn’t stop me from going to at LEAST 3-4 Steeler games a season. I graduated from Old Dominion University in 2010, and if I’m not watching a Steelers game, you can catch me at the beach, stuffing my face with Golden Oreos, or in front of anything Marvel. I report breaking news, I'm the site's designer, and I’m also the Editing Manager here. Follow me on Instagram @bwall_24!
