Haden Could Return Sunday

During Mike Tomlin's press conference the coach said that corner Joe Haden could be available for the Steelers showdown with New England on Sunday. Haden has been out for the last month after suffering a fractured fibula against the Colts.

"Joe Haden will be back on the practice field in some form or fashion," Tomlin said Tuesday. "Hopefully we can get him back to the land of competing."

Tomlin also expressed his happiness over Haden being able to call himself a division champion.

"One of the most rewarding things Sunday was seeing Joe Haden wearing AFC North champs hat and t-shirt."

With Haden out the Steelers have looked lost at times in coverage. Brett Hundley toasted the Steelers on three different occasions, and Andy Dalton found AJ Green open every play against Coty Sensabaugh. Sensabaugh replaced Haden as a starter opposite of Artie Burns. Sensbaugh was later benched against the Bengals in favor of rookie Cam Sutton.

With Ryan Shazier lost for the season, it would be a huge boost if Haden can return Sunday.

Tomlin also said that Vance McDonald and Sensabaugh are both dealing with shoulder injuries and that they will be further evaluated.
