With the Steelers wrapping up a first round bye Monday in Houston, it appears they will infact rest some key players on Sunday.

Marcus Gilbert said that the Browns would face Landry Jones instead of Ben Roethlisberger. He also said that Le'Veon Bell would sit out the finale too.

Jones last started in week 17 of 2016 with Roethlisberger resting for the playoffs. Jones led the Steelers to a come from behind victory in overtime, throwing for 277 yards and 3 touchdowns including the game winner to Cobi Hamilton.

With Bell on the shelf it will give newly signed Stevan Ridley valuable reps heading into the post season.

Maurkice Pouncey wasn't able to practice again today as he continues to deal with a hip injury. BJ Finney could get the start at center.
