Many Steelers fans were left scratching their heads when the team used their first round pick on Virginia Tech safety Terrell Edmunds, but it's becoming increasingly clear Edmunds has big time potential and could be a standout player on the defensive side of the ball. Edmunds has made the most of his opportunities with Morgan Burnett's hamstring injury keeping him on the sidelines for the time being.
The video below shows Edmunds making a nice play, displaying great focus with an interception on Ben Roethlisberger

Edmunds is receiving high praise from his teammates as well. Joe Haden stated, "He's going to be a tackler. He's very, very smart." Edmunds clearly has talent, a big frame for his position, and could absolutely see a lot of playing time this season if he continues to prove why he was taken in the first round.
