The good news is that after the tough loss to the Buffalo Bills and their stifling defense on Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers remain in the exact same spot they started in coming into the day -- the 6th seed in the AFC playoff picture. With losses by the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, and Indianapolis Colts all in Week 15, nothing really changed for the boys in black and gold. If the playoffs were to start today, the Steelers would be playing wildcard weekend heading into Kansas City.
With that said, Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin took to the podium Tuesday for his weekly press conference following the team's final home game of the 2019 regular season. He spoke on the amount of total turnovers in the Buffalo game, injury updates to Vance McDonald and JuJu Smith-Schuster (both questionable this week), critical play-calling in the loss to Buffalo, and what we can expect next up when the Steelers head to New York to take on the Jets. Not to mention taking on former Steelers running back, Le'Veon Bell.
