The Steelers signed Alejandro Villanueva to a new contract last year on the eve of training camp. Today, he helped the team by moving some money around to save some cap space.

This move comes one day before free agency officially begins, even though teams were allowed to start courting players last night.
The move could allow the Steelers to go after a middle linebacker in free agency or possibly give Ben Roethlisberger a new contract.
