I think you can safely argue that Sunday afternoon vs the Indianapolis Colts was Bud Dupree's breakout performance. He was already having the best start to a year in his career, now the numbers are starting to show it.

Dupree was a force of nature in the pass rush, finishing the day with 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, and 3 total tackles. The two sacks bring his total on the year to 6, currently matching his career high. His 2 forced fumbles on the year have doubled his career total (4). Dupree is settling into the role of pass rush opposite TJ Watt, and that only makes this Steelers defense more terrifying for opposing quarterbacks.

Dupree is the 3rd Steeler to be awarded a Player of the Week award this year. Devin Bush was awarded Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6, and James Conner was awarded Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Miami Dolphins in Week 8. As the Steelers have found their winning ways, their star players are having standout performances week in and week out.
