With a spike in Covid-19 cases nationwide, the NFL is putting all teams in its intensive protocol starting on Saturday, for the rest of the season. The Pittsburgh Steelers have already adopted the intensive protocols after the game against the Baltimore Ravens, so they are ahead of the curve for the stricter policy being implemented.
Kevin Dotson remains on the Covid-19 Reserve List. He will miss the game this week and the earliest he can return is Monday November 23rd. Vance McDonald is still on the list, but can be brought back any day once he is symptom free for 3 days. Anthony McFarland was held out with an illness, it appears it is not Covid as he returned to practice today. Jayrone Elliot has an illness and missed today's practice.
Chris Wormley began practicing today after spending the last 3 weeks on Injured Reserve. He must be activated to the roster by December 9, or he will be placed on season ending IR and will be lost for the season.
Mike Hilton practiced fully which is good news as he missed the past 4 weeks with his shoulder injury. Isaiah Buggs (ankle), Trey Edmunds (hamstring), & Jaylen Samuels (quad) all missed practice today. We'll have to see if they can return sometime this week.
Everyone else practiced fully today, aside from JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), but he's been listed with a knee injury and has missed the first practice 7 times this year, so I'm expecting him to play this weekend.
The complete practice participation record is below:
