After the Pittsburgh Steelers took care of business at home, dominating the Cincinnati Bengals 36-10, they are back on the road for the 4th time in 5 weeks to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Head Coach Mike Tomlin opened his press conference stating they are still in intensive protocols and the only time they will be meeting in person will be during practices and walk-throughs. All meetings will be held virtually just like last week. As normal he addressed the health of players who have missed time. Tomlin expressed optimism with the status of Mike Hilton (shoulder) saying, "Hilton will be back to work tomorrow" while also saying Chris Wormley will be practicing as well. Wormley is currently on IR and is eligible to return. There was no specific update about Kevin Dotson and Vance McDonald who are on the COVID-19 list. He did stress that there will be a focus on fixing their running game this week. When asked what the specific issue with the run game, Tomlin said "all of the above." He was asked if there needs to be a change with the running back position, specifically James Conner and he simply put it, "No, we will get better."

When talking about the Jaguars, he dove into the statistics of James Robinson and how successful he has been as an undrafted rookie. They anticipate Robinson will be leaned on heavily this week with a rookie quarterback at the helm. Defensively, he anticipates the Jaguars to play similar to how they did against the Green Bay Packers, being very opportunistic and creating turnovers. He was asked about this being a trap game and he dismissed that notion saying, "We are playing professional football." He knows these matchups are always competitive as history shows us.
