And STILL the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers look ahead to Week 9 as they prepare to take on the injury plagued Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
Tuesday, Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin took to the podium for his weekly press conference speaking on the past game against the Baltimore Ravens, and the latest and current injuries (Derek Watt, Jordan Dangerfield, Tyson Alualu, Cam Heyward, and Mike Hilton). It's "optimistic" with Heyward, and a "wait and see" regarding Alualu, Tomlin expressed.
Tomlin also addressed the Cowboys who appear to be in a similar situation as the Steelers were just a season ago after losing their franchise quarterback for the year, Dak Prescott earlier in the season. For this week, the focus seems to be mostly on preparing for Cowboys running back, Ezekiel Elliott, and the Cowboys wide receivers corps including CeeDee Lamb.
The arrival and availability of newcomer ILB Avery Williamson was addressed as well.
