Our prop bet last week was our first week without a winner. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger only attempted 32 passes against the Baltimore Ravens and a majority of them were in the second half when the Pittsburgh Steelers were primarily running 5 wide receiver sets without a running back in the game. James Conner finished the game with 3 catches, but for only 13 yards and finished a handful of yards shy of cashing our best bet. This week we have multiple best bets and we foresee a very profitable week as the Steelers face one of the worst defenses (and offenses) in football when they travel to Dallas to play the Dallas Cowboys.
- Ben Roethlisberger over 1.5 touchdowns (-196): This is a pretty simple bet - Roethlisberger to throw for two touchdowns or more. He has thrown for 15 touchdowns this season in just 7 games which is an average of over 2 per game. The Cowboys have also given up 18 touchdown passes in their 8 games which is over an average of 2 per game. This is one of, if not the worst, secondary in football and look for Roethlisberger to have a field day.
- Ben Roethlisberger not to throw an interception (-130): We are doubling down on Roethlisberger today in anticipation of a great game. He has only thrown 4 interceptions all season and 3 of them came in the same game. Roethlisberger has played extremely smart football this season and has not put the football in harms way very much. The Cowboys only have 3 interceptions on the season and two of them came in one game against the Carson Wentz who has thrown the most interceptions in the NFL this season. Not to beat a dead horse, but this Cowboys secondary is awful and one of the least opportunistic units in the NFL. Lock in on Roethlisberger to have a turnover free game.
- Diontae Johnson over 43.5 receiving yards (-110): Yes, Johnson has had a very up and down sophomore season, but he is still Roethlisberger's favorite target. Johnson has eclipsed 44 yards in every game that he's finished this season except for last week. You are getting great value with his yardage total here because of his performance in Week 8. The Ravens were scheming to not allow Johnson to have a big day, but the Cowboys have no one in their secondary who can stop Johnson. Look for him to have a big game and possibly his first 100 yard receiving game of the season.
Best of luck this week and let's go Steelers!
