The Pittsburgh Steelers made a high profile hire today as they added Brian Flores to their defensive coaching staff. Flores will coach the linebackers, and be a special assistant to defensive coordinator Teryl Austin.
The hire was met with praise from many members of the Steelers.
Talked with defensive captain Cam Heyward about the Brian Flores hire, and he echoed the sentiments from other Steelers players on social media:

"He’s a premier coach who had a pretty good defense in Miami. Looking forward to working with him and helping us all grow."

Heyward's comments nearly cloned the statement from Head Coach Mike Tomlin.
“I am excited about Brian Flores joining our coaching staff given his history of developing and teaching defensive players during his time in the NFL," Tomlin said via Press Release. "Brian's resume speaks for itself, and I look forward to him adding his expertise to help our team."
Pending free agent cornerback Joe Haden was all over it.
The Steelers organization is FIRST CLASS.

Time will tell, but the hiring of Flores could be very fulfilling for the Steelers. He had just taken the Dolphins to their second winning season in a row when he was surprisingly fired. The Dolphins hadn't had back to back winning seasons in 20 years!
Flores most important job will be to help Devin Bush get his game back. This hire could be the most important day of Bush's career if he figures his game out.
