Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback, Mitch Trubisky hasn't had the start to the season that he may have wanted. While the team is 1-1 just two weeks in, the offense has shown minimal signs of life. Trubisky has struggled, as he adjusts to his first year in Pittsburgh's offense, led by offensive coordinator, Matt Canada. Those two, Trubisky and Canada, have been at the forefront of criticism from fans.

Week 2 featured a crushing loss to a conference opponent in Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. It was most certainly a winnable game at Acrisure Stadium, and the offense is to blame for not coming out on top. For whatever reason, there hasn't been any flow in the offense. When speaking to the media after Sunday's game, Trubisky talked about one interesting tidbit that he thinks the guys need to be better at:
"When everybody is saying 'call this play, call that play,' it makes it tough for everybody to do their jobs. I think everybody just needs to worry about their job," Trubisky said via the Steelers' YouTube page. "We'll just keep growing and going in the right direction together. That's my take on it. Everyone's got suggestions. Everybody wants the ball in their hands. We've got a bunch of talent, and we've just got to figure out what works best for us going forward."
The Steelers signal-caller isn't pointing fingers at anyone specific here, and it may be an issue with all of the playmakers. Perhaps the wide receivers, like rookie George Pickens, are griping about not getting the ball enough. No one knows who his comments were specified at, but that's not a good sign for a group that needs some chemistry right now.
Through two games, the black and gold offense ranks 30th in the NFL in total yards per game with 255. If you exclude Minkah Fitzpatrick's pick-six in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals, the offense would be tied-for-24th in points with just 30 total through two weeks. You get the memo, the offense simply isn't getting the job done at this point. Things have to change and change soon, whether it be bringing in Kenny Pickett at quarterback or perhaps moving on from Canada as offensive coordinator.
