The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted a YouTuber for a stadium trip during his charity trip around the NFL. Tom Grossi toured Acrisure Stadium on June 10th before hosting a pair of fan events in the city of Pittsburgh while on his "30 in 30" stadium series to raise money for St. Jude. The Steelers also made their own contribution to the cause in multiple ways, as reported by Grossi, both on his Twitter and on his appearance on the The Pat McAfee Show a couple days after the Pittsburgh trip. He posted his Pittsburgh trip on a YouTube video.

How did the Steelers help?
One of the things that he mentioned on McAfee's show was that not only Pittsburgh was willing to allow him to tour the stadium, but they allowed him to do it for free. They even let him do the tour while one of the Rooney's was getting married at the stadium. In his own video, his awe at the stadium, the team, and the history was apparent, just like the awe he had for the entire city.
The Steelers' generosity didn't stop there. They had a little gift basket waiting for Grossi at the stadium for the tour, as well as a note saying that they recognize everything that he's doing for St. Jude as they donated $1,000 to his fundraiser. While other teams didn't let him into their stadiums, the Steelers went above and beyond for a simple YouTuber, joining in on his chaotic good deeds.

Pittsburgh Steelers Owner Art Rooney II
We can say whatever we want about Art Rooney II and how he runs the team, but there's no denying the soft spot in his heart and his will to make some good things happen. Another side story about this was how he flew a Kansas City Chiefs fan out to the Super Bowl and let him enjoy it as a fan, despite working for the Steelers. Even as a Chiefs fan, that occurrence made the worker adopt the Steelers as a second team. This worker explained the story to Grossi on the stadium tour.
Wow.

Absolutely in awe.
The @steelers were so so incredible. Not only did they welcome us with open arms, but they also donated $1000 to St. Jude.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. pic.twitter.com/g7vyhZMXNX
Some other YouTubers came to the Pittsburgh site to make their own donations. Many sports YouTubers try to help each other out, so Brett Kollman and UrinatingTree (yes, that is somehow a real name on the internet), gave a combined $3,000 to the fundraiser and hung out with Grossi and the fans. 'Tree even broke down the city of Pittsburgh and what the Steelers mean to the city as a whole.

The fans showed out too. There were so many Steelers fans (and some other fans) in the area. It got to the point where Grossi had to move the fan event to a bigger location just to accommodate everyone. He even held another smaller fan event that evening, as well as attending a concert. Steeler Nation truly showed their passion and proved to Grossi that we are the best fan base in the league, and maybe even in all of sports.
What do you think of Tom Grossi's trip to Pittsburgh, as well as his "30 in 30" fundraiser? Did you attend the trip? Will you attend future dates in this whole event? Let us know in the comments.
