The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to get back to the higher tier of the AFC in 2023. Training camp is in full swing and the excitement is running wild throughout the entire fanbase as the team practices at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. It will not be an easy task to be the top team in the AFC North, let alone the conference as a whole. The Cincinnati Bengals have the best quarterback in the division while the Baltimore Ravens are expected to have a revamped offense powered by Todd Monken's mind. The Cleveland Browns, well, remain the Browns.

Cleveland has been the laughing stock of the division since the AFC North officially formed in 2002. The organization has yet to be crowned champions of the group and, despite a postseason victory during the 2020 season against the Steelers, not much else has materialized over time. They have certainly improved under Head Coach, Kevin Stefanski, however.

The two teams will face off in Week 2 on Monday Night Football in Pittsburgh and then again in Week 11. The 2022 campaign saw a split in the season series. It will be a bit different this time around, as Deshaun Watson is not suspended in 2023 and the offense is expected to be much more in sync. The same goes for the Steelers with second-year quarterback, Kenny Pickett looking to make a big jump.

The Browns have not had the best start to training camp. Two big fights occurred recently that led to Stefanski forcing his players to run sprints prior to the end of practice. It seems as if the discipline level is not anywhere close to where it needs to be. That could result in being a problem for a team that was in the top half of the league when it came to penalties in 2022.

Steelers Rival Causing Issues Off The Field As Well

The trouble does not stop with a couple of fights on the field. The Steelers rival also recently caused issues on a United Airlines Flight. According to a report, a flight going from Dulles, Virginia to San Francisco was significantly delayed after a professional sports team trashed the plane. It was first discussed on FlyerTalk, a community where frequent flyers discuss travel. A user commented in frustration.

"Well this is a new one. Waiting to board flight 1893 IAD-SFO. Supposed to be departing at 8:39, but there’s little chance of that happening. Apparently the plane was used as a professional sports charter right before our flight and the plane was trashed according to the gate agents."

The user, HoyaSFOIAD, continued by connecting the dots. It wasn't too hard to figure out that it was the Browns that had disrespectfully trashed the plane without thinking of others.

"They didn’t say the team's name, but the flight went from Greenbriar to CLE as flight 2535 and then came here to IAD as flight 2553. There’s a certain NFL team that plays in Cleveland that was wrapping early training camp at the Greenbriar. I’m sure the airline would rather have the charter biz and let this event pass, but it really shows poorly on the certain NFL team that plays in CLE."

This isn't relatively surprising. Whether Cleveland is hitting people over the head with helmets on the field, fighting on the playing surface internally or trashing an aircraft, there is clearly a lack of accountability in the locker room.

Stefanski keeps it cool in front of the media and on the sidelines, but if he accepts this kind of behavior, it should be awfully troubling for the Browns faithful. The team is already having issues and the month of August just began. Someone in the locker room, whether it be coaches or players, needs to show some leadership and get the group under control.
