Loser Colin Cowherd Blasts Steelers Late Quarterback Dwayne Haskins "He Can't Win A Super Bowl"

The Pittsburgh Steelers are known for having one of the most family-oriented franchises in all of sports. Whether a player is around the team for a year or nearly two decades like Ben Roethlisberger, everyone that comes through is part of a bigger cause. That's why when quarterback, Dwayne Haskins Jr. passed away in 2022, it was extremely devastating for the organization and NFL as a whole. He was a young, talented player, but more importantly, a human being and father who had his life taken way too early.

The death was extremely unexpected and the cause was Haskins Jr. being hit by a dump truck on an interstate in Florida. He was entering his second season on the Steelers roster and, at the time, third on the depth chart following Roethlisberger's retirement. There has not been much talk at all about his play on the field since April of 2022 when he passed, but a radio host recently brought him up in horrible fashion.

Late Steelers Quarterback Dwayne Haskins Inappropriately Brought Up On The Herd

Colin Cowherd, host of The Herd, is often in the headlines. He has some outlandish takes and is constantly looking for clicks and views. On Tuesday, he and his production team made a grave mistake when they brought up Haskins Jr. during a conversation about which quarterbacks in the NFL are unable to win a Super Bowl. He specifically pointed out Haskins Jr.

This is a nearly impossible mistake to make, yet, Cowherd and his team completely neglected the fact that the former Steelers signal-caller passed away over a year ago.

The TwitterX account that posted the clip, Funhouse, followed up the video by ripping Cowherd. According to a source (which cannot be confirmed), Cowherd refuses to talk about death on his show and this made it clear he has no regard for the families of late players.

Cowherd has been known for a while to make some enemies. Most of the disdain comes from him trashing players' and fans' teams, but this is a completely unacceptable error. Shortly after he mentions Haskins' name, it seems as if he pauses and realized what just happened. Sure, he could probably blame someone in the production room, but he is absolutely at fault for not looking at this prior to his show.

This is hard to even call a mistake based on the graphic having Haskins Jr's name on it. One would thing Cowherd is putting things together for his own show and if he did in fact put this topic and list together, it's not only embarrassing, but disrespectful. If he didn't, then we can infer he is not the brain behind his operation. Regardless, Haskins Jr's being brought up in this conversation should have him feeling downright shameful.

Haskins Jr. had his life taken from him way too soon and while Steelers fans will never forget that terribly sad day in April of 2022, it appears Cowherd and several people on his team are well out of bounds when it comes to the subject. Cowherd also included Kenny Pickett and Mitchell Trubisky on his list, which makes it even more baffling that he didn't make the connection with Haskins Jr.
