The Pittsburgh Steelers have spent much of their offseason bolstering their offense, and they aren't showing any signs of stopping. Despite the team lacking a starting quarterback, the team has invested in free agents like DK Metcalf and Kenneth Gainwell. Now, the Steelers have met with another veteran offensive player, and it's another wide receiver.

Terrace Marshall visited the Steelers' facility on Tuesday, according to Aaron Wilson. The veteran wide receiver would bring four years of experience to the organization. If signed, it is unclear where he would land on the depth chart.

Marshall played for the LSU Tigers in college and was a second-round draft pick, being selected 59th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers.
Marshall spent three seasons with the Panthers and one with the Las Vegas Raiders. In his career, he has 116 pass targets and 67 receptions. In total, Marshall has only 17 starts and one receiving touchdown in his career.
Marshall had his best season in 2022, but since then, his NFL career hasn't gone as planned. Everything from Marshall's targets to receiving yards has gone down over the last two seasons, and he is most likely looking for a good team to put up a solid performance with. It's unclear if the quarterback situation the Steelers have would deter him from wanting to sign with Pittsburgh, but for Marshall, it may be one of his best options.
Steelers' Offense Still In Question Entering 2025
If Marshall were to sign with the Steelers, he would join an already growing offense, and one that is increasingly impressive. Whether or not the Steelers sign Marshall, the team's interest in a wide receiver raises questions. There has been speculation on whether or not George Pickens will play for the Steelers for the last year of his contract. The Steelers could be preparing for a worst-case scenario and checking for possible alternatives.

Marshall is an exciting prospect with lots of room to grow as a player, but his success, along with the rest of the Steelers' defense, will be determined by the team's eventual signal-caller. In light of the New York Giants signing former Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson, it is only becoming more likely that the Steelers will land Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers is far from an ideal quarterback at this stage in his career, but the Steelers have found themselves scraping the bottom of the barrel in recent weeks. Before Wilson signed with the Giants, there was talk that he would come back to Pittsburgh, but the Steelers didn't bother to keep him in the first place, so why would Wilson choose them? In hindsight, the Steelers may have set their fate in getting Rodgers the moment they chose to let Wilson walk.
Where should the Steelers go from here? Should they continue to build up their offense without a quarterback lined up? Considering the offensive moves the Steelers have made thus far in the 2025 offseason, the team doesn't seem overly concerned about the quarterback situation, so maybe the fans shouldn't be concerned either.

Marshall will meet with the Tennessee Titans next week. If the wide receiver doesn't sign with the Steelers, he could be a name to watch this season.
