The Pittsburgh Steelers are moving forward closer to the 2025 season with far more certainty than they have had for most of the offseason. Finally, Aaron Rodgers revealed he will play with the Steelers in 2025. Rodgers will be Pittsburgh’s starting quarterback, and at the age of 41, many are wondering what the former four-time NFL MVP still has left in his tank.

Many around the AFC North have taken notice, including Cleveland Browns star pass rusher Myles Garrett. On Wednesday, Garrett made headlines when he claimed he’s ready to take Rodgers to his graveyard. The bold comment quickly sparked reactions across the league and among Steelers fans.

Steelers insider Mark Kaboly didn’t hold back in responding to Garrett’s remarks. On his podcast Kaboly + Mack on Thursday, Kaboly ripped Garrett for his comments, dismissing the Browns’ star and putting the focus back on the Steelers’ confidence in Rodgers heading into the new season.

"Speaking of Myles Garrett, shut the he** up about your graveyard," Kaboly said. "You are the worst team in the league. You are getting paid a third of the entire salary cap, your team stinks, and you are worried about putting Aaron Rodgers in your front yard graveyard. Dude, perspective."

The first part of the story is that Garrett publicly said he wanted to be traded from the Browns after the 2024 season to focus on winning. However, when the Browns offered him a $40 million contract extension, many believe he chose the money over the chance to win.

On top of that, Kaboly argues that Garrett completely lacks perspective on the current state of the Browns’ team. Kaboly didn’t hold back and strongly criticized Garrett for his embarrassing comments.

"Honestly, if you are going to rank the teams right now, that is probably number 32, the worst team in the league," Kaboly said. "You are talking crap on Aaron Rodgers and the graveyard? That is what comes to your mind first? Am I the only one that thinks it is strange?"

Garrett isn’t new to making strange comments at the most interesting times. While he is undeniably a tremendous football player, he has firmly established himself as one of the best defensive players in the league, right alongside Steelers star TJ Watt.

Despite his talent, Garrett often seems to go out of his way to say things in a way he thinks sounds cool or intimidating. His remarks frequently generate headlines and strong reactions from both fans and opponents.

One of Garrett’s more infamous quirks is his graveyard in his front yard. There, he sets up tombstones for the quarterbacks he has sacked, creating a Halloween-themed display meant to showcase his dominance on the field. While it is a bold and memorable statement, it also invites plenty of criticism and debate.

Steelers Vs Browns Games In 2025 Will Have Extra Animosity

The Browns and Steelers have always shared one of the fiercest rivalries in the AFC North, and many expect that intensity to reach new heights in the 2025 season. At the heart of this rivalry is the ongoing battle between Garrett and Watt, two of the best pass rushers in NFL history, who consistently go head-to-head in some of the most high-stakes matchups.

Adding even more fuel to the fire, former Steelers first-round pick Kenny Pickett has found a new home with the Browns. While Pickett isn’t guaranteed the starting quarterback job, he will have a real chance to compete for it during training camp.

If Pickett wins the starting role, it could set up a thrilling storyline as he faces off against his former team twice in the 2025 regular season. This scenario promises to create intense drama and add another compelling layer to the already heated rivalry between Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
