The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a brutal loss in Week 7, but they still have a nice bounce-back opportunity in Week 8. Pittsburgh has historically done great when they are home underdogs of at least three points, and that is the case as they look to take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. A win here would be huge for the Steelers' playoff chances, and a loss would just set up the rest of the division to swipe the AFC North crown away from them once again.

However, things are already looking bleak for the Black and Gold. On Thursday, it was announced that star edge rusher TJ Watt was limited in practice due to a hip injury that just popped up.

Watt did not practice on Wednesday either, but that was just his typical veteran's day off. There has been no update on if it is severe or if his odds of playing in Week 8 are in doubt. There should be more clarification on Friday, and hopefully he will be ok. He has had injury issues in the past, but that has not been the case in recent years. For the Steelers' sake, maybe it will stay that way.

The Steelers have been completely abysmal when Watt is unavailable to play for them. Nobody gets chipped or multi-teamed like he does. Even with the sudden emergence of Nick Herbig, it will be harder for him to get free without so many people focusing on keeping the former AP Defensive Player of the Year from completely wrecking the game.

Steelers' Other Unfortunate Injury Notes
Star center Zach Frazier was also downgraded from limited to not practicing at all on Thursday. He said that he will play in Week 8 despite that, but there are still some concerns. Meanwhile, wide receiver Scotty Miller also suddenly popped up on the injury report, as he was limited in practice with a finger issue. That will also be something to monitor as we get closer to kickoff.
