Keith Butler to Take Over as Linebackers Coach

By Brandon Wallace

PITTSBURGH, PA – The Steelers have decided to hire the team’s defensive coordinator Keith Butler as their new linebackers coach. This comes just weeks after the team made the decision not to renew Joey Porter‘s contract who was the former linebackers coach and player in Pittsburgh.

Butler previously served as the team’s linebackers coach for 12 years and head coach Mike Tomlin believes Butler will have a larger role in the defensive play-calling for the upcoming 2019 season.
