School is right around the corner for most public schools in the country, and the Steelers are making sure our youth in the Pittsburgh area are going back the right way. The Back-To-School event took place right at Heinz Field and included a plethora of supplies all donated by the team.

After the event, Highsmith and his father, Sam Highsmith, handed out 75 more backpacks/school supplies to Clairton Elementary School through their newly founded non-profit organization, the Alex Highsmith Family Foundation. Sam expressed his gratitude for all those who helped make today such a successful one, including our very own Yinzhers:
These are the things that the @yinzhers fantasy draft funds will go to support! π€πππ https://t.co/54F3rbfL38

Just another good day's work for the good guys in black and gold. The Steelers will look to rest easy this evening as they prepare to take on the Detroit Lions tomorrow in their third preseason game thus far in 2021. Expect to see Banner, Highsmith, Dotson, Haskins and Edmunds all suited up come game time.
More to come.
