Coming off of what looked like a home game in Arizona, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin expressed his appreciation for rookie wide receiver, Diontae Johnson, rookie running back, Benny Snell Jr., and rookie quarterback, Devlin "Duck" Hodges. Also, Tomlin noted the fact that we haven't really spoken a lot on kicker, Chris Boswell this year, which really speaks to how solid "Boz" has been along with his consistency.
Tomlin further praised cornerback, Steven Nelson on his consistency and professionalism, and when asked about linebacker, Bud Dupree's outstanding year so far, Tomlin said, "Guys evolve."
From an injury standpoint, runningback, Jaylen Samuels left Arizona with a groin injury, and tight end, Vance McDonald is in concussion protocol. Some good news, running back, James Conner, and wide receiver, JuJu Smith-Schuster will practice this week.
The Steelers will take on the Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills Sunday in Pittsburgh as this will be the last game at Heinz Field this regular season, as it will also be Fan Appreciate Day.
"[Steeler Nation] They inspire us. We're looking forward to getting assistance from them."
