Coaches are back, at least in Pittsburgh! The NFL granted permission for coaches to enter team facilities as early as June 5, 2020, as long as they followed local health guidelines. This is huge in the sense that football is on its way back to some sense of normalcy as Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin was pictured entering the Pittsburgh Steelers facility on Friday.

Although players are unable to return (unless seeking medical treatment), this will be a great chance to allow the coaching staff to get together and start preparing for the upcoming season. This bodes well for the Steelers as new coaches Matt Canada (QB Coach) and Ike Hilliard (WR Coach) will be able to develop a rapport with Tomlin and Offensive Coordinator Randy Fichtner, and be able to brainstorm with them about how they see things offensively.

While it is unlikely players will return to team facilities prior to training camp, this is refreshing in the sense that there is a stronger possibility the season will be played on time.

Are you excited for what Tomlin has to say in the coming weeks? Drop a comment below!
