The good news continued on the injury front for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. On a day where All-Pro edge rusher, TJ Watt landed on the injury reserve, meaning he’ll sit for a least four weeks, the team gets some welcoming news on second-year running back, Najee Harris.

Harris and Levi Wallace were elevated from limited in Wednesday’s practice to full. Robert Spillane was listed on the report as a full participant in the second straight practice following an eye injury that kept him out near the end of the game in Ohio. Mason Cole was a limited participant, again with an ankle injury, while Cameron Heyward got a veteran day off.

The news continues to be positive for the Steelers starting running back after the foot injury he suffered against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cole said via 93.7 the Fan he felt good and ready to play in the home opener against the New England Patriots.

“I feel like I will be ready for Sunday, most likely. I will let practice be my guide”

JC Hassenauer, and last year’s starting center, Kendrick Green are the next men up on the depth chart should Cole not be good to go. Hassenauer has started in seven games since the Steelers promoted him to the active roster in Week 17 in 2019. Green was inactive for the first game of the year.
