The Pittsburgh Steelers finished the 2024 campaign with a four-game losing streak after dropping their Week 18 matchups against the Cincinnati Bengals. The offense has looked abysmal in its last four games, having not scored 20 points in any of the losses. Russell Wilson has been one of the big issues when looking at the losing skid. Wilson has gone from the "Legion of Boom" Wilson to the first year in Denver Wilson. While he was missing his number one receiver in two of the four games, it still doesn't excuse him from his passing woes. While fans are panicking going into the playoffs, Wilson isn't worried about the past.

Wilson, after the Week 18 loss, talked to the press and was asked why the offense hasn't been able to consistently start fast. Wilson isn't worried about the past, though, and his sole focus is on the playoffs. Fans may not like that answer, but Wilson is ready to turn his attention to either the Baltimore Ravens or Houston Texans for the Wild Card Round.
"I think what I am going to say is, I don't really want to talk about the past, just because I think we've been in that for a little bit here." Wilson said. "I think the best thing we can do is get ready for the playoffs. It's a new season; that's the only thing that really matters anymore at this point. The reality is obviously, yes, winning that game would have helped us in some form or fashion, but at the end of the day, when you go into the playoffs everybody is zero and zero, you got beat everybody anyway. That's got to be our focus right now, it's been a tough few weeks obviously."
The Steelers' offense had only one successful drive, having seven of its eight first downs of the first half during its lone touchdown drive of that half. Wilson continued the trends of not being on the same page as his receivers, holding onto the ball for too long, and just not helping the offense find really any type of rhythm.
The Steelers seemed to not have learned from any of their mistakes and continue to try things that are clearly not working. While Wilson's mindset is a true leader's mentality, not dwelling on the past and move on to the next challenge, his comments seemed to disregard the poor production of late from the offense.

The Steelers' Week 18 matchup was the perfect opportunity for Pittsburgh to get back on track as they had scored 44 points in the last meeting with the Bengals, but the offense came out as flat as ever. They didn't get their first points until the second quarter and wouldn't score again until eight minutes to go in the fourth. This type of performance from the offense will likely not lead to a playoff win, and the streak of playoff losses will continue for Mike Tomlin for another year.
The Steelers will need to figure out something quickly with time not on their side. They could be looking at another trip to Baltimore, something they would love to avoid for another week, but it's out of their hands with the loss to the Bengals. This loss comes down to players not doing their jobs efficiently, something that has been talked about for weeks now.

Steelers' Offensive Woes Needs To Stop And It Starts With Wilson
Wilson came here to help the Steelers win their seventh Lombardi, which seemed like a real possibility after his first few starts for Pittsburgh. Now, Wilson needs to find a way to get himself and his offense all on the same page.
He couldn't get on the same page with George Pickens at all against the Bengals, the big story all week for the Steelers. While Wilson's goal will still be winning the Super Bowl, most of the team would just like to win their Wild Card matchup. It's truly do or die for the Steelers, whatever tweaks that needs to be made has to be made now.
Will Wilson and the offense figure it out? Do you think the Steelers make it out of the Wild Card? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
