The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to compete in one of the NFL's toughest divisions yet again in 2025. The AFC North seems to play a different style of football than most of the other divisions throughout the league, which is why it is so important for Head Coach Mike Tomlin's group to take care of business when the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals or Cleveland Browns are on the opposite sideline. Teams are always paying attention to what is going on with their rivals during training camp, as anything can potentially be used to one side's advantage once the regular season rolls around.

The Steelers have revamped the roster significantly since a 2024 Wild Card loss to the Ravens, but it still will be no easy task to go head-to-head with one of the NFL's top Super Bowl favorites. Additionally, the Bengals are set to have an offense full of firepower and could make some noise throughout the year. As far as the Browns go, well, no one is really expecting much from a franchise with so many questions at quarterback.
Baltimore will remain as the favorite to win the division as long as no serious injuries occur during the preseason, but there's another factor brewing for the Ravens. As one of the most penalized teams a year ago, Head Coach John Harbaugh has the tough task of working with his team to be much more discipline during 2025 training camp. On Tuesday, it was made clear that he doesn't have a full handle on things after a brawl broke out at practice, per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

The Ravens were taking part in a joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts, and while emotions run high when a different colored jersey is opposite of any team, throwing punches is never acceptable.
Zrebiec confirmed via a post on X that Nate Wiggins did get thrown out of practice after running in from the sideline to take place in the fight, which is certainly worrisome for a Ravens fan. Personal foul penalties can absolutely destroy a team during the regular season. Harbaugh did make it somewhat of a learning lesson for the young defender, as he tries to keep his team a little more in check when it comes to emotions.

Harbaugh said it needs to be a learning experience for Wiggins. You throw punches, you get tossed.
While Wiggins is an important defensive player for Baltimore, he also has a significant special teams role, as he played roughly 47% of snaps with that group during his rookie campaign. A first-round selection in 2024, the young playmaker still has plenty to learn, and Harbaugh is clearly trying to drill that into his brain now, instead of him getting tossed in a meaningful matchup.

One of the most important things on the football field is keeping emotions in check. It is a violent and physical game, but retaliating is always going to come at a steep price. It makes it even worse that Wiggins ran from the sideline and was not working in during the special teams play that resulted in the brawl. If it tells the Steelers anything, it's that the young cornerback still has some things to work on when it comes to the mental side of the game.
Steelers Hoping To Get Payback On The Ravens After 2024 Season
Not only did Baltimore defeat Pittsburgh in late December of 2024, but the Ravens also handled the Steelers in the postseason. Losing in the playoffs is never easy, but when it comes at the hands of a division rival, it stings that much more. The first time the two teams will face off will be in Week 14, so both sides will have to wait an extremely long time before seeing one another again.
