The Pittsburgh Steelers are a difficult team to project for the 2025 NFL season. The organization brought in a lot of new pieces, and many of the team's best players are past their prime. This is especially true for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, although he did look very good in the second half of the 2024 season during his time with the New York Jets. The 41-year old Rodgers being the starting quarterback for Pittsburgh, and other offseason changes, have some parts of the fan base in Pittsburgh feeling a little skeptical about what the team could accomplish during the 2025 season.

The Steelers are chasing a playoff victory, which is something the franchise has not experienced in nearly a decade. It is a key point of frustration within the fan base, and the people of Pittsburgh want to see the Steelers advance in the playoffs and show that they are a serious contender. Former Pittsburgh quarterback Terry Bradshaw made a recent appearance on Newsweek, and he was asked about his pick for the Super Bowl winner at the end of the 2025 season. It is safe to say he did not pick the Steelers.
"It's not gonna be the Chiefs," Bradshaw said. "I think Baltimore-Buffalo in the AFC Championship Game. I think Baltimore's gonna get over the hump this year. I'm pulling for Pittsburgh, always will. I don't think they're ready yet. Cincinnati, I don't think their defense is good enough yet. It's Cincinnati, it's Kansas City, Buffalo, Baltimore. Then you've got Pittsburgh with Aaron Rodgers. They could shock some people. Don't hold me to this, I'm going Baltimore."
Bradshaw also mentioned the Los Angeles Chargers and the Denver Broncos as teams that could be dangerous in the AFC. However, he believes the Baltimore Ravens will be the ones hoisting the Lombardi Trophy when it is all said and done. This is not great to hear for Steelers fans considering Baltimore is Pittsburgh's biggest rival, and the Ravens winning the Super Bowl likely means they have won the AFC North again.

Bradshaw also sees the Steelers behind many other teams in the AFC. He had them behind the Ravens, the Buffalo Bills, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Cincinnati Bengals. Baltimore, Buffalo, and Kansas City makes sense considering those are three of the top-picked teams when it comes to winning the AFC and Super Bowl LX.
Cincinnati is a pick that doesn't make too much sense. The Bengals have continued to show the NFL world that they are not the team people expect them to be, and they will likely have one of the worst defenses in the NFL again. They have a highly-potent offense with arguably the best quarterback and wide receiver in the NFL, but the team loses games it shouldn't and is consistently held back by a lackluster defensive unit.
Steelers Great Terry Bradshaw Doesn't Seem To Be A Big Fan Of Aaron Rodgers
Bradshaw was a bit outspoken while Rodgers was making a decision on what to do during the 2025 season. It was a drawn out process, and Bradshaw called him out for it on multiple occasions. The Hall of Famer doesn't seem to like the way Rodgers carries himself off of the field, and Rodgers responded to Bradshaw's comments by claiming that the former quarterback does not know him at all.

The former Pittsburgh quarterback then mentioned Rodgers by name while discussing the outlook of the season and where the Steelers might land in the AFC. The way he said it, it sounded like he had a lot of doubt in the four-time league MVP.
