Ramsey has been solid since his arrival in Pittsburgh. The veteran was acquired in an offseason deal with the Miami Dolphins and it left many people around the football world in shock. Ramsey was initially rumored to miss an extended period of time due to injury prior to Sunday's matchup, but the veteran was quick to silence any doubt surrounding his health with an outstanding performance.
Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin spoke about Ramsey's performance following Sunday's matchup, with Tomlin sharing his excitement surrounding Ramsey's efforts against Cleveland.
"We certainly wanted to make sure he could impact the game." Tomlin stated. "I can not say enough about Jalen Ramsey, guys."
Tomlin continued to speak about how dynamic of a player Ramsey truly is, as the leader of the black and gold claimed that Ramsey has been exactly what the Steelers have hoped for.
"This guy plays outside corner, he plays nickel, he plays free safety. He is exactly what we hoped he would be, and certainly, he was significant today."
Ramsey has been widely regarded as a top cornerback in all of football for the majority of his career. The veteran solidified himself as Pittsburgh's top corner the moment the trade was finalized, and Ramsey has proven he can still play at an elite level when healthy. The veteran had his best performance of his young Steelers career on Sunday against the Browns and will look to continue on the upward trend Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Ramsey was credited with six total tackles in addition to his two sacks against the Browns on Sunday. The veteran is an instant difference-maker in the Steelers' secondary and Ramsey will be faced with an excellent opportunity to have another big performance against the Bengals. Joe Flacco is expected to make the start for Cincinnati on Thursday as Ramsey could quickly find himself in prime position for another career game.

The talented linebacker took a moment to share his thoughts on Ramsey's performance, with Herbig revealing he has watched Ramsey play for years.
"That guy's a dog." Herbig stated. "I grew up watching him, when he was at Florida State. So he's been doing it since I've been watching football."
Herbig continued to praise Ramsey for his daily work ethic as well.
"Just seeing that in person, seeing how he goes about his business day in and day out, on and off the field, that guy is a true professional and vet. He's a leader and an inspiration to a lot of guys, and he's great for us."
Ramsey has made a crucial impact on the Steelers' secondary since he was traded from Miami. The veteran could emerge as an excellent mentor for younger defensive backs on the unit as well. Pittsburgh will face the Bengals on Thursday night where both Ramsey and Herbig will look to continue playing at an extremely high level.
