The Pittsburgh Steelers come off of the bye week relatively healthy heading into a non-conference matchup versus the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The biggest update is that edge rusher, T.J. Watt has officially been activated off of IR and barring any crazy pregame setbacks, will play. The team also gets safety, Damontae Kazee back and he should participate for the first time this season. This is great timing as safety depth, which days ago was thought to be a strength, took a hit when star, Minkah Fitzpatrick suffered an appendicitis and now will be out several weeks.

The inactives list below displays no real surprises, but the loss of Fitzpatrick will certainly play a factor in the organization's ability to get the third win of the season, and just the second victory at home all season.
1.) Mason Rudolph, QB
The Steelers veteran quarterback was more active in practice than he has been this season. Mike Tomlin wanted the starting defense to see a signal caller who was most similar to Saints' starter, Andy Dalton. That doesn't mean Rudolph was set for any kind of an expanded role and he remains without a jersey.
2.) Minkah Fitzpatrick, S
This is unlikely to be the case for just one week. Fitzpatrick is expected to miss multiple games due to an unfortunate injury that occurred within the last couple of days. His appendicitis will keep him on the sidelines for a little while.

3.) Kendrick Green, G
It's hard to say that fans are upset about Green being in street clothes once again in Week 10. After a rough rookie season, the second-year player finds himself in a less than ideal situation and may even struggle to make the team in 2023.

4.) Ahkello Witherspoon
After trading for William Jackson III, it was believed Witherspoon's job was in jeopardy. Jackson III has recently been placed on IR, but Witherspoon's hamstring injury will hold him out of the game against New Orleans and Arthur Maulet will see an increased role.
5.) Mark Robinson, LB
Steelers fans wanted to see Robinson play in a regular season game since the preseason. He received the opportunity a couple weeks ago against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but did even play a snap. The seventh-rounder will continue to wait for his moment.
6.) Elijah Riley, DB
Riley was just elevated to the 53-man roster, but will not get a jersey against New Orleans. It seems to be just a procedural move and he is likely to remain on the sidelines unless an injury to the secondary occurs this week.
