Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Kenny Pickett has drawn a lot of attention this offseason. He has been compared favorably to Trevor Lawrence and has also been called the worst quarterback in the AFC North. He made headlines after a visit to a country music concert where he shotgunned a beer on stage. Pickett most importantly got married to Amy Paternoster, better known as Mrs. Pickett on June 24th, 2023.

Pickett is 25 years old and heading into his second season in the NFL. The Steelers quarterback is enjoying a fantastic honeymoon in Puerto Rico before he is due to report to training camp later this month. The happy couple shared a photo on Instagram, lounging on the back of a boat.
The couple is vacationing at the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach Resort. The resort is located on the Rockefeller estate. It is situated on 50 beautiful private acres and appears to be an ideal spot for a honeymoon. It is the perfect getaway before they spend a few weeks apart during the Steelers upcoming training camp.

The Pickett’s have been together as a couple since at least April of 2021 according to a New York Post article by Jenna Lemoncelli. The couple was married in New Jersey where they both are from last month in front of friends and family after a nearly 18-month-long engagement. The Steelers posted a tribute to the happy couple after they shared their vows.
The Picketts both come from competitive collegiate sports backgrounds. Amy was a soccer player for the Princeton Tigers while Kenny was playing quarterback for the Pitt Panthers. That competitive spirit could lead to some interesting date nights. TJ Watt shared on a recent Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger podcast that he and his wife have to establish ground rules when games are involved. Ben Roethlisberger joked that TJ's wife Dani Watt is probably a better athlete.

"We play Binho, which is like the flick kick soccer game," Watt replied. "We went golfing on Friday night and I went, 'Are we having fun tonight or are we competing?' She told me we are going to have fun competing. Everything always turns into a competition."

The Steelers quarterback is a notorious gym rat. He studies film relentlessly and is likely to need an occasional outlet to blow off steam. The Watts and Picketts seem like prime candidates for a couples game night as long as it is being played anywhere near a pool.

The Steelers will report to training camp on July 26th in Latrobe, PA. St Vincent's College will be the site for the 56th year and a rested confident Pickett is a necessity for a successful 2023 season. Pickett has worked hard all offseason, drilling with his receivers at every opportunity. Writers and analysts who observed Pickett in the spring have universally raved about his command of the offense this offseason.
The Steelers have converted the offensive line to better protect Pickett in 2023 after he suffered two concussions in his rookie season. Mike Tomlin and Omar Khan have put together an offense that should succeed with power running and play-action passing to help protect their franchise quarterback. Keeping Pickett upright and healthy is the best wedding gift that the Steelers can give the happy couple.
