As Wednesday continues to roll on, the Pittsburgh Steelers' schedule leaks continue to come out. Earlier, the entire road schedule was leaked, along with the fact that the Steelers will play the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas. Did we mention that Christmas is a Wednesday? Oh, how about the fact the Steelers will have to play on a short week at Baltimore on Dec. 21, and then play the Chiefs on another short week. How about the fact that they play at Philadelphia on Dec. 15? Eagles. Ravens. Chiefs. All in 10 days. Just absolutely brutal.

Now we begin to see some of the Steelers' remaining home games starting to leak. The first of which is that the Steelers will host the Los Angeles Chargers for their home opener on Sept. 22. That game against the Chargers will be the team's only home game in September.

With the MLB's Pittsburgh Pirates playing at home during the first two weeks of the NFL schedule, the Steelers are forced to play on the road because of the proximity of the two team's venues. They will do so with back-to-back revenge games as new Offensive Coordinator Arthur Smith will head back to Atlanta for Week 1. Then for Week 2, the Steelers will travel to Denver for the much-anticipated return of Russell Wilson to the Mile High City. It's likely to be a very hostile crowd in Denver after the past two disappointing seasons with Wilson at the helm for the Broncos.

After the Steelers' home game against the Chargers, they'll head back on the road to Indianapolis. This will be the third year in a row the Steelers play the Colts in Indianapolis. They beat the Colts in 2022 with Benny Snell having a career game and lost last season in a game that featured Mitchell Trubisky being pulled for Mason Rudolph

As we alluded to earlier, the biggest talking point amongst Steelers fans currently is the December portion of their schedule. It's absolutely brutal. It's now been released that the Baltimore Ravens will play the Houston Texans in the other Christmas game.

That also means that the Chiefs will play the Texans on Dec 21, while the Steelers play the Ravens. Four potential AFC playoff teams battling in primetime. Talk about throwing caution to the wind for player safety. It's always a brutally physical game between the Steelers and the Ravens. Now they'll both need to heal quickly to face two of the best teams in the NFL.

Looking at what we know so far, it's most likely the Steelers will have their bye week right in the middle of the season at Week 9. If it's not Week 9, it'll likely be a little later at Week 11. That's about the only positive so far for the Steelers as the leaks continue to roll in.
