The Pittsburgh Steelers host their Week 3 home opener as a 2-0 undefeated team that sits atop of the AFC North division. Coming to Pittsburgh will be the Los Angeles Chargers, who also have not lost a game this season. Led by their defenses, the Steelers and Chargers are just two of the only five teams left in the AFC that are 2-0. Pittsburgh will have to prepare for a Jim Harbaugh-led Chargers team, a coach that's spent the last nine years as Michigan's head coach in the NCAA.

Steelers' Week 3 home opener will come against Jim Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers.
After spending almost the last decade working towards a National Title with Michigan, Harbaugh could use some tips on how to beat a physical football team like the Steelers in the NFL. Luckily for him, his brother, John Harbaugh, Baltimore Ravens Head Coach, has been playing the Steelers twice a season for 17 years consecutively. Even though the Steelers have given the Ravens problems in recent years, it won't come as much of a surprise if Jim Harbaugh asks for as much help as possible from his older brother.
Previewing the electric Week 3 matchup, Pro Football Talk hosts Mike Florio and Chris Simms both decided to take the Chargers winning this game, showing a ton of confidence in Jim Harbaugh. Florio was certain of the fact that the two coaches have been collaborating on a game plan to take down the Steelers ever since the schedule was released.
"Think about this: They've known since May that Jim Harbaugh was going to Pittsburgh Week 3. How much time do you think Jim and John have spent talking about the Steelers? John has every interest, even though he's competing indirectly with Jim for playoff positioning, Wild Card and whatnot, he wants to see the Steelers lose. He's got no reason not to empty the tank and give Jim everything he needs to try to beat the Steelers. I really do think Jim Harbaugh and company are going to pull off the win."
Granted, the Ravens and Harbaugh have really struggled against Pittsburgh since 2020. Out of eight matchups, the Steelers have come away with seven wins during that timespan. What kind of advice could he possibly give to his younger brother and the Chargers?

Mike Tomlin and the Steelers are up for the challenge, as they prepare for a Chargers team that will be led by a banged up Justin Herbert, who apparently has a high ankle sprain. Harbaugh and Herbert have relied heavily on JK Dobbins and the run game so far after two contests. Surprisingly, Dobbins has nearly as many rushing yards (266) as Herbert does passing (274). Pittsburgh and Los Angeles have two of the most dominant defenses in the league right now, so whoever can run effectively and stop the run defensively, is likely going to come away 3-0.
Steelers' AFC North Rival Baltimore Ravens Have Their Own Major Issues To Handle
If someone was told a month ago that the Steelers would be 2-0 and the Ravens would be 0-2, they would think that's a joke. Yet, here they are, as the Steelers sit in first place of the AFC North, while the Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals are at the bottom with 0-2 records. Harbaugh and the Ravens have some major issues to figure out, and their upcoming schedule is very daunting.

Baltimore Beatdown
Steelers' rival Baltimore Ravens lose in stunning fashion to the Raiders in Week 2 of 2024.
The Ravens' defense has taken a huge step back from their historic 2023 season, and their offensive line has struggled mightily. Even their special teams unit with legendary kicker Justin Tucker looks to be regressing. The offense can't get into a rhythm with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, and their next game is a tough one on the road against the Dallas Cowboys. The Ravens' season could come to an end much quicker than much of the NFL community would have ever expected.
Do you think the Harbaughs are working together on a plan to hand the Steelers their first loss of the season? Even if they are, will it be enough? Let us know in the comments.
