There is no doubt that a lot of eyes are on the Pittsburgh Steelers' 2025 training camp. The front office did not mess around during the offseason, as new faces have emerged on both sides of the ball. Despite there being a significant amount of turnover throughout the roster, there will be some very important returning players that could dictate how the regular season goes for the franchise. One of the most pivotal areas to keep an eye on will be the offensive line, as the organization has had a goal in recent years of beefing up the trenches to dominate the line of scrimmage.

Training camp has started off a bit shaky for center Zach Frazier, as the second-year player has experienced some issues snapping the ball. The fan base expects him to get this small problem resolved before the meaningful games are being played, but it will certainly be something to watch out for as the team development stages continue into August.
There is no doubt, however, that the individual that could determine the offense's success is former first-round selection, Broderick Jones. After being forced to playing right tackle for the majority of his initial two professional seasons, he has finally moved back to the left side following the departure of Dan Moore Jr. in free agency. During Sunday's practice, Jones was seen on the sidelines being worked on by a trainer after an apparent hip/groin injury.

Just being checked out by the training staff is one thing, but Jones also appeared to have a tough time walking normally, which is something that absolutely can be viewed as problematic, no matter what time of year it may be.

Jones hasn't gotten a plethora of reps on the left side over the last two seasons because Moore was pretty much always healthy. Jones had a shaky start to his career on the right side, which is why the jump over was looked at as a positive. Now, it appears as if a hip ailment is coming into play, and that's never good for a lineman that needs to have strong mobility. Offensive line coach Pat Meyer has to be a little bit concerned, as his job security is already a bit shaky.

The injury bug is something that hits every NFL team throughout any given season. The fact that Jones is already facing some sort of issue with is hip is not encouraging. On top of that, Frazier's poor snaps are not exactly encouraging a fan base that is hoping to have a more stable offense in 2025. Overall, the offensive line is not having the best start to training camp.

He may have taken one or two snaps during 7 shots but that was it. He’s removed shoulder pads/ helmet and is an observer.
Dylan Cook ended up getting reps in at left tackle, and could for the foreseeable future depending on the extent of Jones' injury. Spencer Anderson was recently labeled as a guard with Isaac Seumalo beginning camp on the Non-Football Injury List. As a whole, the Steelers' big men up front are going through a very bad phase, and there isn't too much depth to help out.

Steelers' Most Important Positional Group May Be Offensive Line During 2025 Season
Injuries and inconsistencies on the offensive line could determine if Pittsburgh has a successful campaign in 2025 or not. The team is going to want to run the ball and utilize play-action, but if there are breakdowns and a lack of rapport with the group blocking, then a lot could go wrong. Jones and Seumalo are now dealing with some kind of injuries, while Frazier works through snapping problems.
