The Pittsburgh Steelers came off their bye week by defeating a division foe at Acrisure Stadium in Week 6. They faced the Cleveland Browns, led by rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel. Pittsburgh did a solid job of limiting the Browns’ offense and ultimately won 23-9 on Sunday. The Steelers’ defense did well throughout the game, keeping Cleveland out of the end zone and forcing multiple key stops. With the win, the Steelers improved their record to 4-1 and showed continued progress on both sides of the ball as they look to stay competitive in the AFC North.

Shedeur Sanders was named the QB2 for the contest, marking another step in his early NFL journey. The former Colorado star has been one of the most talked-about rookies this season after sliding in the 2025 NFL Draft, a development that stirred plenty of debate among fans and analysts alike. Despite the noise surrounding him, Shedeur has handled the spotlight with confidence and poise, showing flashes of his potential in limited preseason and practice reps. While he did not see the field against Pittsburgh, his presence on the sidelines remained a major talking point among Steelers and Browns fans.

However, it was not Shedeur who went viral after the game. It was his brother, Shilo Sanders. Shilo, who is not currently on an NFL roster, managed to fool both Steelers and Browns fans by pretending to be Shedeur on social media following the game. His playful trolling sparked confusion and laughter across the football world as fans from both sides reacted to the stunt. The hilarious mix-up quickly caught fire online and proved that the Sanders brothers know how to keep themselves in the spotlight, whether it is on the field or on social media.

The 51-second clip posted by Bleacher Report was pure comedy. Shilo, known for his hilarious personality, pulled off an incredible impersonation of his brother Shedeur. Not only did he act like his brother, but he also nailed every detail, from the cadence of his voice to his overall mannerisms.

Steelers Were Rumored To Want To Draft Shedeur Sanders

For Steelers fans, the moment struck a special chord. Many in Pittsburgh had hoped the team would draft Shedeur in the 2025 NFL Draft. Those rumors swirled for months, but they never came to fruition, as the Steelers ultimately selected rookie quarterback Will Howard in the sixth round instead.

Shedeur, once projected to be a first-round pick, ended up falling to the fifth round in one of the biggest surprises of the draft. Even after the Browns took Gabriel in the third round, they still selected Shedeur two rounds later, a decision that left many football fans around the world scratching their heads. So when Shilo appeared in the video pretending to be his brother, it made perfect sense that both Steelers and Browns fans were convinced it was actually Shedeur.

Most fans would usually recognize that a player would not be wandering around the stadium wearing his jersey after a game. Yet, with Shedeur’s confident and unpredictable personality, it would not be completely out of character. Regardless, the clip was hilarious and quickly went viral, highlighting just how popular Shedeur has become around the NFL and how much attention the Sanders family continues to draw on and off the field.
