"Can't let that frustrate you," Verse said. "He's [Aaron Rodgers] having a release time of 1.3, 1.2, 1.1, a couple of them are like 1.5, and that's who he is as a player. You can't let it frustrate you on the D-line. We just got to keep rushing, and at one point, he will hold that for two or three seconds. That's when you got to take advantage of it."

Verse's assessment offers an interesting look at the chess match developing between Pittsburgh's offense and Cleveland's defensive front. Rodgers has built an extraordinary career around his ability to recognize defensive coverages before the snap and deliver accurate passes before opposing defenders can reach him. Even at 42 years old, his understanding of defensive tendencies remains one of his most valuable weapons.

However, Verse clearly isn't interested in allowing Rodgers' quick release to dictate Cleveland's defensive approach.
