The Pittsburgh Steelers sit at 3-2 and are very much in the conversation within an incredibly competitive AFC North division. The offensive woes under Offensive Coordinator Matt Canada have been broadcasted on a national spotlight, but the defense has had a couple of slip ups in the two losses as well. The San Francisco 49ers and Houston Texans both had their respective ways with Teryl Austin's group. It won't get any easier with a Los Angeles Rams offense that boasts one of the best receiving duos in the entire league with Cooper Kupp and surprising rookie, Puka Nacua. A veteran in Matthew Stafford leading the offense gives the Rams an advantage as well.

Los Angeles is averaging 258.8 passing yards per game, which is fifth in the NFL. The Steelers are 13th in the league, allowing 245.6 per contest through the air. It will be a challenge for a struggling Pittsburgh secondary to keep up with Kupp and Nacua, who could be due for career games if they build off of what the Rams offense has been capable of throughout 2023.
Stafford is in his 15th NFL season and he has now slowed down a bit. He has been one of the best signal-callers in the league with his team going 3-3 to start the year. Dan Orlovsky, a quarterback guru and analyst for ESPN, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday to express his opinion on Stafford. He thinks that there is no one better in the game right now than the guy under center for the Rams.

With the issues the Steelers have had in the secondary, it's not hard to envision Stafford throwing for 300 yards and multiple touchdowns on Sunday in Los Angeles. Pittsburgh's offense has been a huge concern and needs to score more points, but it'll be hard to keep up with the Rams' offensive unit if they are clicking on all cylinders.

Steelers' Week 7 Opponent Currently Unbeatable Due To Dominant Quarterback Play
With Pittsburgh on the horizon for Stafford and co., Orlovsky responded to his own post and blatantly said that the Rams will beat any team (despite a 3-3 record) if their quarterback continues to play some of the best football of his career. If the analyst truly believes no one is capable of being victorious against Los Angeles due to how Stafford is currently playing, he's definitely confident that the Rams will take care of business against the Steelers.
Can beat any team with their QB playing like this https://t.co/dvGcf0VcSh

Patrick Peterson and Levi Wallace have not been overly impressive and productive in Pittsburgh's passing defense. After a huge interception in Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens, fans are calling for Joey Porter Jr. to see a significantly higher snap count. Fresh legs might be what is needed to keep up with Kupp, Nacua and Tutu Atwell.
While the run defense hasn't been good for the Steelers either, they are going to have to dare Los Angeles to hand the ball of on Sunday. Their top two runnings backs are not going to be playing and selling out for the pass might not be a bad idea if the defensive front can handle the Rams running the ball. It could be the difference between a win and loss.
Pittsburgh's star edge rusher, TJ Watt unexpectedly missed practice on Thursday which is a huge cause for concern.

The Ravens currently lead the AFC North, but have a tough test against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The Steelers could very well be back in the driver's seat with a record of 4-2 if they can come home with a win in Los Angeles. It won't be easy, though. Rams Head Coach Sean McVay is a mastermind and Pittsburgh's defense could very easily be exposed and taken advantage of.
