Steelers' Mike Tomlin Makes Strong Confession About Payton Wilson's Development

The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted linebacker Payton Wilson in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. You have to develop leadership and leaders, and where he is in his career is appropriate. That’s what I mean when I say we have a different agenda in terms of guys' off days. It is not only the preservation of those guys, but it is the elevation of others."

The Steelers have Patrick Queen wearing the green dot on defense, a clear sign of trust as it designates him the quarterback of the unit.
